Talk to the person behind the site
This site is run by one person, not by a weather desk. The address below is actually read, and it is the same channel for a wrong figure, a photo takedown request and anything about privacy.
The forecast for my town looks wrong
The forecast is not ours: it comes from MET Norway, the Norwegian meteorological institute, which publishes a global model. If a number looks odd, say which town and which hour. Sometimes the problem is the town coordinate in the GeoNames database, and that we can fix. If it is the model, the page shows the model run and the link to check at the source.
My town is missing, or the name is wrong
The list of towns comes from GeoNames (places with 15,000 inhabitants or more). A different spelling, a town filed under the wrong country, a town that is simply missing: write in and we add it or correct it in our table of local names.
You took one of the photos
Photos come from Wikimedia Commons under a free licence, with your name and the licence printed under each image. If the credit is wrong, or if you want your photo off the site even though it is freely licensed, write in: we take it down, no argument.
Privacy and data
There is no sign-up and no visitor database, so normally there is nothing of yours to delete. Even so, any request about personal data reaches this address and gets an answer.
We do not answer requests for paid links, link exchanges, sponsored posts or "content partnerships". And we do not send emergency warnings: that is what your national civil protection agency is for.
