Pollen count today
The only pollen bulletin with open, keyless data we could verify is the German weather service (DWD) index, covering 27 sub-regions. For other countries, the calendar below shows when each type is in the air.
Informational content, not a diagnosis or a treatment. Persistent symptoms are a matter for an allergy specialist.

How to read these numbers
The German index runs from "no load" to "high load" and is published once a day, with values for today, tomorrow and the day after. It covers hazel, alder, ash, birch, grasses, rye, mugwort and ragweed.
The calendar applies to the northern hemisphere and shifts with latitude and altitude: birch flowers weeks later in northern Scandinavia than in the Po valley. In the southern hemisphere the seasons are offset by six months.
Frequently asked questions
- Which pollen is high right now?
- It depends on the month. Late winter brings hazel, alder and cypress; spring brings birch and ash; summer brings grasses and rye; late summer brings mugwort and ragweed.
- Does rain help my allergy?
- Long rain washes pollen out of the air. Thunderstorm rain can make things worse, because it ruptures the grains and spreads even finer fragments.
- Why is there no bulletin for my country?
- Several national services only publish on their own page, with no open interface, or under a licence that does not allow republishing on an ad supported site. Until permission is clear, we do not copy the data.
